"FIESA 2009: Discoveries Described as the largest sand sculpture event in the world, the International Sand Sculpture Festival or Festival Internacional de Escultura em Areia (FIESA) has been held in Pêra, Algarve, Portugal annually since 2003. The site at occupies . Each year about 60 artists use 35000 tons of sand to create 50 works of art. "Various buildings in Slatina Slatina is a district of Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. It is located in the eastern part of the city and is somewhat separated from other parts. Slatina became a part of Brno in 1919, and currently has approximately 8,500 inhabitants. Slatina has a well- preserved village center. The south of the district contains mostly modern houses, while the north of the district contains many panel houses built in the 1980s. Slatina is served by two trolleybus lines and several bus lines, which connect the area to the city center. The main Czech motorway, the D1, passes close by. Slatina neighbours Černovická terasa, a commercial and industrial zone which houses offices of several international companies including Honeywell and Daikin.
