"Mahammad Ali Tarbiat ( ; born May 26, 1877 in Nobar, Tabriz, East Azerbaijan — death January 17, 1940 in Tehran) was an Iranian Revolutionary and politician. He founded the Tarbiat library which was the first library in Iran. Tarbiat was a writer active in the Iranian Constitutional Revolution and a member of the National Consultative Assembly from the electorate of Tabriz (1931-1940).
